lyrics

Do you know just how this is?
Do you know who she's become?
I don't know anything
On how to stop this…
Looking back as the sun comes down...
The stars are burning out…

This is how it ends.

“If there's anyone that needs a hug right now…
...it's her.

...Twilight…?

This is what loss feels like.

You aren't going to enjoy it.
No one ever does.
You might fall back onto hopelessness.
You might just start over.
But that's how it works.
You move on.

We've all been granted unexpected circumstances…
And we've all experienced tragedies disguised as blessings..
Even as the world feels like it's coming to an end.

You can still move on.
Even if you brought it upon yourself.
You can still go home.
Try again tomorrow.

In this silent hour, nothing has brought any of us closer.
And for that, I thank you.
You could move the heavens in attempt to rewrite the past
But you could never rewrite how we feel about you..
You changed my life, in a few bad ways, but there were more ways in good!
But all I could say is that I wouldn't be here right now without you.

None of us would.

You might not have felt you had free will.
You might not have felt you had a choice.
But nothing could change the impact you had on our—

…my life.

...Twilight?

...I don't even know if you can hear us anymore.

I'm not telling you what to do, actually quite the opposite.
If it isn't obvious, you're completely in control.
We're all at the mercy of your might at this point.
Nothing we say or do will change fate if you don't will it.

And that's alright.

I can't promise you that I would understand.
I can't promise you that I would be able to help.
But I will listen.
It might not feel like much, but it's all I can do.

Just maybe…
...maybe it's enough.

…If this is really what you want, then I am in no position to stop you...
But if this is really the end, then I'm not sorry.
If this is really the last time we'll ever meet again, then I'll remember who you are.
I'm happy that I've had a chance to meet you.
I'm happy that I've gotten a chance to know you.

I'm happy…

…to call you…

…my friend."
